A Warm Welcome from Brian Jones
Brian Jones is a highly experienced and successful executive, now operating on a number of boards and as an independent consultant, speaker, and entrepreneur.
His career has spanned multiple sectors and disciplines, including business and IT transformation, enterprise sales, services, commercial, procurement, technology, and general management in a variety of industries. All Brian’s more recent roles have been global in nature, and he has been responsible for businesses and functions in Europe, North America, Latin and South America, Asia and Australasia.
In addition to launching 2 successful private businesses, Brian’s experience includes 15 years on the executive boards of FTSE100 companies. Tenures have included; Chief Information Officer at Allied Domecq, Head of Business Transformation at Burberry, Chief Commercial Officer at Smiths Group, and President of Smiths Detection.
Brian has a track record of driving operational excellence, business transformation, and growth. He is passionate about people, service, and leadership, and has spoken on these and other subjects at London Business School, private companies, and in international leadership events.
Since developing his Leadership Framework in 2015 Brian has presented it at leadership events around the world. Recently he was invited to present on “Helping Leaders Get Better” at a Harvard Business School alumni event in Boston. La Fosse Associates, a Fast Track 100 company, has also formally adopted the framework as the blueprint for its own management and leadership development program.
Brian is Chairman of Bloor Research and its sister companies in the Globalution group and is also Chairman of the Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce.
Brian and his wife, Maggie jointly own Alwalton Hall, a beauty and wellness centre set in a stunning Georgian country house west of Peterborough, in Cambridgeshire, and which is his preferred venue for hosting master-classes, workshops, and other business events.
Brian is an alumnus of the Royal Academy of Music, INSEAD, and Harvard Business School.
